  1. I love meditation and it really does help with chronic back problems. It’s good to read an article on the benefits of meditation on stress, any tension creates more problems!

Hi Kathy, I put off starting meditating for so long. I knew I would benefit from it, but I just kept putting it off. Now, it’s part of my everyday routine. It has so many benefits, I wish I had started sooner.

      Thanks for you comment,
      Phil

      • I think many people get the wrong idea about meditation not realizing that we do it all the time. Focused intent on anything is meditation, not just for people sitting under trees in flowing robes! Best stress buster there is don’t you think? 🙂

  2. Hi Phil- It’s nice to hear so many positive comments on the Benefits of Meditation on Stress- To all you readers let me just say thank-you and don’t put it off..start now, right now right after reading this short comment… I believe the single most important point to remember at least for me was to pick a time each day to sit and then do it religiously- At first my mind would make excuses as to why today would not be such a good day to meditate-however once I convinced MY MIND that meditating was my first priority then all the other day to day things secondary it went quite well-

Hi Tom, Happy New Year! Thanks again for your article, I am really enjoying doing my meditations. It is already a part of my daily routine. I hope the readers here, apply what you’ve introduced them to and follow up with you for even more information on your website.
      Thanks again,
      Phil

  3. I especially enjoyed your honest thought at the end, Phil. Like you stated, I’ve heard this many, many times but have never gotten into it regularly. I always let time blow by me and the stress add up. Now that I’m retired, my life pace is completely different. Thanks for sharing this.

Hey Allyn, it’s nice that you’re retired, but how does a couple of mini vacations several times a day sound to you? We owe it to ourselves, to just clear our minds and let the relaxation just wash over us.
I’m on Day #2, trust me on this, it’s wonderful. Try it, you’ll like it.

  4. Phil, this was superb! I have meditated in various forms for a few years now…..it is truly amazing and for me, hard to explain to someone else. The benefits are multiple…emotional/spiritual/physical/mental health all improve….self awareness and awareness of anything and anyone outside of ‘self’ improves as well….

Hi Rosie, thanks for your comment. It’s great to have somebody that practices meditation reply on Tom’s article. I asked Tom to make it EZ4 me to start, I think he delivered. I’m glad you agree.

Keep it up Rosie, if it feels good do it. ;^)
