    I’ve weighed in every morning as usual, but I’ve decided to wait until Christmas Eve morning to post the next scale shot for this blog.

    The next scale shot will be in 2016.

  2. You are right Phil when you said it starts with nutrition. The best advise that you could ever give someone is to read and live by the book, “Eat to Live”. Your health always starts first by eating nutritional food, not man-made artificial junk food. Then instead of turning into a vegetable, you must move all this nutrition around your body by exercise. I find it extremely inspirational that you can still run a 5K in less than 40 minutes. You have now set the bar which gives me a goal to shoot for.

    I am not as concerned about the weight as I am where this weight is located, which is my belly. I need to re-position this for better proportions throughout my body. So I ask, which exercise is better for this? Yoga? cardio? Strength training?

      Hiya Ken, I think you need to walk at least 30 minutes a day, just to get the blood moving.
      Next you have to build (retain) as much muscle as you can and that means resistance training. My go-to program is LifeLine 15/15 workout. I don’t care how busy you are you have ten minutes three times a week for a full-body resistance workout.

    It’s been a week since I started following ETL after Thanksgiving and today I’m 184 lbs a loss of 4 pounds in 7 days.

      2nd week and I’m doing good down almost 7 lbs from 188.

      12-14 weigh in

      Tonight is my company Christmas party at a famous Italian restaurant.
      I am on IF, but I will be eating and drinking tonight.
      Let’s see how little damage I can do.

      Tues. 12/15/2015 Update: After Christmas party
      The party and the food were good. I ate, but didn’t overeat.
      Weight this morning 182.6. An increase of 1.4 lbs. No problem back on IF today.

        Christmas Eve 2015 at 8 AM it was already 70º
        a record set for the day.

        I got on the scale this morning and I’m down almost 9 pounds. This is where I want to start 2016.
