1. work from home online

First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which I’d
like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing.
I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out
there. I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure
out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Thanks!

    • Phil

Writing for me isn’t always easy, it’s a process. I start with some simple topics ideas that I think might be interesting and write some notes. I then do my research to see what questions on this topic other people are searching for. Then I address my solution.

Very often one topic will lead to another related topic, that can be used for another article. The time spent just figuring out what topic or what direction to take with a topic isn’t wasted. I think it’s just a part of the thinking process. At least it is for me.

My best tip, if you enjoy writing, just enjoy the process. It does get easier with time.

  2. Muscle Builder Flex Supplement

I was recommended this blog by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as
nobody else know such detailed about my problem.
    You are incredible! Thanks!

    • Phil

Hey, thanks for your kind words and to your cousin for the recommendation.
If there is anything I can research or write an article about for you just let me know.

  3. Vic

Hi Phil. I appreciated your comments about juicing, so was checking out your site. I love the long list of fruits and veggies that are natural diuretics.

    • Phil

Hey Vic, thanks for stopping by.
Initial weight loss is so important to someone starting a new program. Usually, the first 10 to 12 pounds of weight you lose isn’t fat, it’s water and waste. Natural Diuretics will help you lose that bloated water weight and encourage people to continue with their weight loss efforts.

Some people take diuretic pills, I’d much prefer that they eat food to accomplish the same results.

Much continued success with your website juicenjoy.com

  4. Yes Phil, a diuretic is any food, liquid or drug that increases the water and sodium to excrete in your kidneys. So Coffee is a natural diuretic. My problem is not drinking enough water at work to compensate for the water loss my body has naturally. I am very fortunate that I did listen to you before and purchased the Adya Clarity Water solution so that I do regain a good water supply once I get home. I am a natural Welter-weight sized man just under 160 pounds. According to the BMI chart, that is the top of my class size. But I have never been this heavy my whole life. I would like to reposition my weight however, not have it in my belly, but elsewhere. That will take exercise I think, along with better diuretics in my food. Thank you for your post and explaining what the different foods are that have the most diuretic action on our bodies.

    • Phil

Ken, I start the day with 20 ounces of water. I bring a liter bottle of Adya Clarity water with me every day to work. Some days I finish it and some days I don’t. On ETL I eat food with very high water content (fruit & vegetables).

We’re looking to get down to about the same weight. The last weight hanging on is in my belly area as well. We’re in the same boat.

Please check out the LifeLIne 15/15 workout I follow. How does working out 10 minutes three times a week sound to you? Trust me it is Intense!

      • Vic

I think what is most important about an intense work out is the chemical changes in our body, not necessarily the loss of calories.. Just an opinion.

        • Phil

Vic, you’re right. I don’t walk, jog or run for weight loss, I do it to get the blood moving and to build conditioning and wind.

Weight loss is 80% Nutrition (diet if you prefer) and only 20% exercise. Resistance training can help you build muscle which can burn additional calories even after you’ve stopped exercising.

We need, proper nutrition, aerobic and anaerobic exercise every day.

  5. Marion

    Hi Phil,

I’m bookmarking this article because I’m so overweight and it’s mostly fluid. I would really prefer to lose weight naturally instead of taking those pills to reduce fluid.

    • Phil

Hi, Marion, with Summer just days away and the humidity it’s very common for me to retain water and have my feet and legs swell. I stay well hydrated, but use as many natural diuretics as I can during the day. This helps with the swelling and also takes the pounds off fast, It’s not fat, but it is weight.

    • Phil

Thank you, Meryl, I’m glad you liked this article. I do try to keep it real. I hope you’ll come back often. Please let me know if there is any topic you’d like an article on.

  6. Kathy

    Hi Phil,

First of all, let me thank you for introducing me to the” Eat To Live” way of life. I have “dieted” for more than 44 years of my life, and haven’t felt as good as I do on the Eat To Live program. I’m thrilled with my results after 7 days on it, as I have lost 9.9 pounds and feel wonderful! My edema in my left leg has gone down considerably just from eating “GBOMBS.” I attribute this to all of the healthy foods I am eating now. I no longer desire all the unhealthy foods I was eating for over 59 years. I expect to lose more weight by following this healthy way of living. I know I will reach a plateau at a certain point, but I will not give up on the Eat To Live program. This will be the way of life for me from now on. I appreciate you mentoring me and showing me how I can choose to “eat to live” rather than “live to eat.”

    Many thanks, Phil!

    • Phil

      Thank you right back Kathy,
After you stopped smoking with “Easy Way” I knew that your other health issues could be resolved by better nutrition. You were doing everything you could think of to get control of your weight, but it wasn’t working. Something had to change.

I knew if you tried Eat To Live you would get results quickly and that would inspire you to stay with it and inspire others. It’s all about paying it forward.

You have been on BioTRUST for quite a while and are familiar with Metabo379. When I hit a plateau (as I know I will) Metabo379. is my “Plateau Buster”

I envy you growing your own vegetables and the gardening is giving you a workout. You’ve started walking daily and soon you’ll be doing the LL 15/15 workout. Dee and I can’t wait to help you start with that. We’re both so excited for the way your life and health are going to be changing… do you feel it?

Then when you’re fully back to health we’ve got to see who you can help… right?
It’s all about paying it forward.

      • Kathy

        Hey Dee,

Thanks, my friend, for being so happy for me now that I am on the ETL plan and losing weight. I wouldn’t be so successful if it weren’t for you and Phil encouraging me. I enjoy eating healthier and look forward to each day differently now that I’m feeling better about myself.

Hope you are doing well yourself. Thanks also for the awesome Chili Recipe that’s so chocked full of nutritious vegetables. I eat it almost every day, that’s how awesome it tastes!

Keep up the good work, Dee, and remember I think of you daily as I enjoy the fruits of your labor.

        We’ll both keep Rocking!!

Oh I forgot to mention about the ginger. I planted some pieces of ginger in big pots the other day.
I missed the boat as I should have planted late winter or early spring. You can harvest about 8 months later so I will let you know how it goes.
Apparently it is a very nice plant and has a lovely scent. I can bring the pots in when or if it gets cold. Seems like our winters are not much anymore so I might only need to give them some protection if it freezes.

    • Phil

Ginger is great, I’ve been sipping on a large mineral water with grated fresh ginger and lemon. I’ve got a weigh in tomorrow with Kathy.
I never thought about growing my own ginger. I keep a large hand of ginger in the freezer and I use a micro-plane to grate off what I need when I need it.

Great article Phil, thanks for the information.
I always learn something and I always thought I knew it all hehehe….
It was hot on my little Island today lol…32C which is 90 in your lingo!! I was at my sons and sat around for a couple of hours talking and when I went to leave my ankles were swollen. I guess from the drive to his place plus the sitting for hours did it. I came home and chowed down on some pineapple and watermelon. That’s all I wanted right now and maybe some veggies and beans later. I have no air in my car but thankfully we have a heat pump in the house which is a/c as well. I am basking in the coolness lol.
    Enjoy your evening

    • Phil

You live and you learn, that’s the rule.
If we live long enough we’ll know it all.
Let’s give it our best shot.
